changes and reactions

When our pitch was presented, we had a few problems and a few gaps that we were originally unable to see, we have taken these comments into account and edited the plot-line of our story.

Our basis was good and the audience were intreagued by the idea, yet we has subtle mistakes, one example would be that if our protagonist lived alone, then it would not be clear that the ghost is in her head, we changed this by making it so she moves in with her old friend who lives in the area, this way he can act as a control group so when she see's this manifestation, there is somebody else there to say that he saw nothing, showing the audience that it is just her. we have also changed the reason to come back to her old town, as opposed to returning from a long trip to new york, We have changed it so her psychiatrist tells her to return for her mental health in order to get a job promotion, this indicates that there may be problems with her mental health. Her home with her husband and job is in london, so that, if needed, it is far easier to film and recreate, whereas new york would be difficult.

This pitch has been vital to the project as it has helped us see the flaws which were originally hard to notice.
