Levi Strauss Binary Opposition

This is the theory which promotes the idea that our understanding of words comes not from fact, but from our relationship with its opposite. An example would be understanding the word cowardly, this is mainly understood by recognizing the difference between its opposite which would be courageous. or our understanding of the word strong comes from our recognition of the difference between strong and weak.
in media, Binary opposition creates interest though opposites and contrast, so for a film trailer interest would be created by the contrast between fast scenes and slow scenes as one is jumpy and the over builds tension.
our movie will take advantage of this because it will involve an extrovert and introvert, two opposites the young boy/ victim is an introvert whereas the protagonist is an extrovert.
there will be a opposition relation between the protagonist and her roommate because the protagonist will be insane and the roommate completely sane
